DIY your Transparent Box

Having all your items in a transparent box which makes you to have a organized space but still looking messy?

Wanted pretty opaque boxes to store your item so that it won't look messy but you're on a budget or you had too many transparent boxes for waste?

Here's a easy low budget method to make pretty boxes!

I know.. My wrapping papers are not sweet and cute nor pretty. However, I'm on a budget and the outcome of it isn't that bad too!

So, let us move on the the steps!

Step 1: Choose the wrapping paper you like. Yeah.. we all know that :'D

Step 2: Measure the length and height of the 2 sides of your box.
The sides of my box are curved inwards and it's not straight therefore I got to use 4 papers in total to surround the 4 sides of the box.

Step 3: Cut out the correct size of the wrapping paper- The length of the wrapping paper got to be longer than the length of your box.

Step 4; cut your double sided tape and paste it at the sides of your wrapping paper. (Do not paste it at the bottom of your wrapping paper)
I've cut the double sided tape super thin as the box is transparent and I don't want the tape to be obvious.

Step 5: Paste it slowly! You don't want to tear it out if you pasted it wrongly as you may tear the paper or ruin the other wrapping papers you've pasted.

TADAAA! the outcome of the transformation of my Transparent Box!
Shall try out using of colors papers next round!

Brunch @ Canopy Garden Dining & Bar

Went for my 1st full-time job interview yesterday at Tanjong Pargar and I was recruited. Was being asked to go for work today at 8am. However, when i reached city hall, I changed my mind and called  to the office and told them that I'll start work next week! I haven't prepare myself to start work yet. Afterwards, I went back home to change. Was wearing formal outfit that makes me looks so damn old. :(
Went and find rx afterwards and we decided to go canopy garden for brunch. Upon reaching there, It was full and they don't have any sits inside for us therefore we sat outside and we saw people who brought their dogs there too! So, pets are welcomed too! But you gotta sit outside~
But we're lucky enough that before deciding on what to eat, there's sits inside and we're able to have our meal in the air-conditioned room!

The both of  us ordered their set lunch ($15.99) which comes with
starter: soup or salad,
main course: Egg Benedict classic/ eggs royale/ all pastas/ fish and chips/ chicken parmigiana,
drinks: coffee/ tea/ soft drinks

*They only provide set lunch on weekdays, 11.00am to 2.30pm.

Of  course for the starter, we ordered their soup of the day which was tomato soup. We're both very impressed by the soup and the bread they served. It tastes so good whereby you'll want more.

As for the main course, we ordered Egg Benedict classic and eggs royale. Their Egg Benedict classic was severed with ham which is not bad. As for their eggs royale, it was being severed with smoked salmon. If you're not a person who can take salty things, you many not really like. However, overall was quite good.
Lastly, the both of us had soft drinks which is 7-up. We're also in love in their 7-up as they made a twist to the 7-up by adding a slice of lemon which gave the drink a big change in the taste!

Creamier

Woke up at 4am and received Amy's message telling me that she can't sleep. So, we decided to go and have breakfast together. Went Sembawang Shopping Centre to have burger king's breakfast. I've always wanted to try their breakfast for a long long time. For me, their croissan'wich is nicer than their platter.

After eating, we went to daiso and we went to Cong Pang afterwards to have my haircut while waiting for Rx. Regret cutting my hair. Gonna let it grow long again!

Reached Creamier at lunch time and it's so damn crowded! We couldn't even find a sit inside and outside the shop! Therefore we went and walk around that area. There's nothing much to shop at that area as it is more to working area. As a results, we went somerset 313 to shop.
At about 3pm we went back to Creamier again and it's not as crowed as lunch time. Creamier was so cramp. There's no much walking space and the tables and chairs are very limited too.

Yep. The 3 of us ordered 1 set of waffle with 3 scoops of ice-cream. Of  course, we won't miss out in trying their popular flavor which is the sea salt gula melaka! Sea salt gula melaka is really playing tricks on my tongue. Can you imagine that the ice-cream you've tried for your entire life was sweet and now, you ate a salty ice-cream!? That's damn weird but it's worth!
We ordered their earl grey lavender too and it was very sweet and I only taste the flavor of lavender. Not a sweet tooth? better don't take the risk of ordering their earl grey lavender.
Lastly is their roasted pistachio. For us, their roasted pistachio is definitely the must try in Creamier! It's not too sweet and the aroma was so good. There are bits of pistachio in their ice-cream too! YUMMM
As for their waffle, it's crispy on the outside which is the kind of waffle I like! Love their waffles

Rx got us food from his Hong Kong trip! Flavors that are only available in HK! The pretz is damn nice while the collon taste totally like egg tart.

Goods I got from somerset 313~
Finally got the marshmallow from Muji! I've always wated to try out their marshmallow as I heard a lot of people recommending their marshmallow but I didn't see it selling in a lot of Muji shop in Singapore but I finally got my hands on them in somerset 313 and it's worth my hunt! So yummy and sweet

LOOK AT THE INSIDE! MELTS MY HEART AND MY TASTE BUB.

Got a pair of shoes from New Look too for my upcoming job interview! Love the white with gold combination ❤

Spruce

Went spruce with Rx. It's located at phoenix park. You can see it straight away when you reach there. Rx ordered their chicken pullet($23.00) while I ordered their tuna burger ($24.00). It's pricy but it's worth the price for their chicken pullet as it comes with 2 chicken meat and the tender and texture was good. However for the tuna burger, I have a hard time eating it as it's quite tall and I ordered it well done therefore it doesn't taste that good for me. Should have it cook medium well instead. Their fries was good as I'm not a fries lover, I manged to finish their fries off. Some of it are more like potato wedges.

Went to the newly opened Kallang wave mall loctaed at stadium afterwards. It's a super empty mall. The thing I like about this mall is the rock climbing. Totally awesome.

Yeep. As what I've said, I definitely come back for more poulet creme brulee ($8.90). It's really the best creme brulee I've ever tried. Not only that, we've ordered their peach clafoutis ($7.90) to try out.
Like what I've mentioned, their creme burlee may be too sweet for some people. Yes it's too sweet for rx.
As it is the first time for me to try peach clafoutis, I think that poulet peach clafoutis was quite good. Served warm with a scoop of ice-cream on top and half of the peach at the bottom of the cake. yumm <3

After dessert, we walked to Old Changi to have our dinner. It's my 1st time being at old changi. Always heard people saying that there's a lot of nice food there. Of course we didn't try a lot of food as the both of us weren't that hungry. Just ordered noodles.

Took bus back and we passed by toa payoh safra and rx wanted to play pool.
And.. that's what i play when he's playing his pool. Dyeing my fingers blue
